  1. Megan,

I’ve recently gone to a beautiful location in my city and enjoyed a cup of coffee by Facetime with some friends who took coffee to a beautiful location in their city. Made the world seem more cozy and fun. Next time we’ll each go to another spot. We’ve now learned to three-way Facetime, so we’ll include someone new.

    Love this and you!!

    1. Love this idea!! Thank goodness for technology allowing us all to stay connected even while apart. Lots of love to you and your family, hope you are safe, healthy and well!

  3. This post is very useful, especially as many of us are unable to travel at the moment. I think I’m going to try a few recipes inspired by my travels too.

  4. The cooking idea is such good thinking! It’s pretty easy to find ingredients from around the world and a fab way to remind us all of fun travel times in the past. I may have to cook more Japanese food that my host mum taught me. I didn’t do that for a while. 🙂

  5. I’m going to attempt some of these things while I’m stuck at home. I think I might do a travel keepsake of some sort. Maybe try cooking some dumplings at home. And of course planning for future travels, by reading more great blogs like yours.

    1. Thanks for reading, Tania! Hope you stay safe and entertained while at home. Love the idea of trying to make dumplings at home!

  6. Yess! I’ve been wanting to get more into cooking! I always make a habit of picking up one cookbook from a destination! It’s so fun to relive food memories at home!

    1. I love that idea of collecting cookbooks from destinations you’ve visited, I’m going to have to start doing that! Thanks for reading 🙂

  7. I recently wrote a similar post to this! However, I love some of your tips that I hadn’t thought of I’ve definitely started to explore my own city some more!

    1. That’s great, Jasmine, I will check yours out as well! We have to keep finding ways to stay occupied and positive during these tough times! Thanks for reading!

    1. Agree, I always have every intention of making a travel keepsake and can never find the time – now I have nothing but time! Thanks for reading and stay well!

  8. I’m doing several of these. The one taking the most effort is learning a new language. Exploring my local area is easy because I walk the trails for exercise every day.

    1. Agree, learning a new language is definitely the most effort, but will be so rewarding once it is safe to travel again. Thanks for taking the time to read!
